Neck Pain Explained

Why do we get neck pain and can chiropractic help? The most common causes of neck pain include pinched nerves due to a vertebra that has shifted and putting pressure on a nerve causing neck pain. Why do these vertebras shift out of their proper alignment?

  • Overuse of cellphones or laptops or basically adapting poor posture like hunching over or looking down for a prolong period of time.
  • Car accidents can cause your neck to stretch past its normal ability and cause injuries like whiplash. Whiplash can happen even during a “small” fender bender where there are no obvious injuries. Even a 9 mph car accident can cause neck injuries and should be evaluated by a chiropractor as soon as possible.
