Millennials!!!

I see this in my office every day

Here is why I am so concerned about millennials. Very often, I see young practice members in their teens or 20’s with lots of health concerns. You are probably asking yourself how come millennials have so many health concerns? The truth is that the millennials I see in my practice really do care about their health and their future. They take action early in life, realizing that now is the time, or else they will end up like their parents; wasting their retirement and savings on doctor visits and unpleasant procedures. The health concerns of millennials began at birth or even before. These “small” and “forgotten” injuries, accumulate and become chronic and debilitating health issues later in life. I see young, athletic and accomplished millennials that have their whole lives ahead of them, yet they already have serious health issues. Many were raised to play sports since before they could walk and encouraged to excel in school. However, their parents forgot the most important thing; taking care of their developing bodies. So here is the message; as parents, it is our obligation to prepare our children for the future. Provide them with all the opportunities you can, love, support, and be there for them as they grow into strong, independent adults. But do not be remiss in your responsibility to ensure that they develop in a healthy manner. In my world that means regular chiropractic checks throughout their lives.

About Me

My name is Rozana Veltman, I’m a certified reflexologist, aromatherapist and a certified Bach flower therapist. I relocated to the US from Israel in June 2015, with my spouse Nir and my daughter Lia.

My life’s story

I encountered with the world of reflexology in 2005. When I studied for my first Bachelor’s degree in economics, my schedule was very stressful. Although I did all the “right things”, I felt that my life was unbalanced. Not by coincidence, I suffered from allergies, headaches, fatigue, and lack of energy in general.
As result of searching for the solution to my health issues, I started to read about the holistic approach to medicine in general and reflexology specifically. Since I didn’t experience relief with anti-allergy medicine, I decided to try reflexology treatment. After several sessions, my allergies began to disappear, my health improved, and more importantly, I experienced a major change in my perspective on life.

Following the Bachelor’s degree graduation, my interest in holistic medicine grew drastically. Therefore, I decided to get official educations in reflexology, which ended up with getting my reflexology certification from “Broshim”, a branch of Tel Aviv University.It’s going to change your life!

BASELINE HEALTH ASSESSMENTS FOR KIDS

There is a new epidemic that most people are not aware of: Autism Spectrum Disorders. With numbers like 1 out of 38 kids affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders, you would think it would be all over social media. Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as, ADHD, Dyslexia, developmental delays, and other issues that fall under special needs can be helped. Most often as parents, myself included, we do not notice or want to acknowledge that there might be an issue with our child. Small changes in health indicating developmental issues vary drastically, ranging from emotional, behavioral and personality changes, to sensory integration difficulties, developmental delays, weakened immune systems, learning disabilities and more.
So many parents are unaware that impairment or damage to the nerve system is not always about pain like they have seen associated with their bodies (back, neck, head, etc). It can also cause subtle (and not so subtle) changes in a child’s development that can affect everything from personality and behavior to adaptation, learning, and vitality.
